OpenAustralia has gone live
OpenAustralia.org is a newly-launched website that captures Australian Government House of Representatives debates and publishes them in a way that allows you to comment against individual speaker's contributions to debates and discuss debates with other users. You can also enter your postcode to find out your House of Reps Member and then track their participation in debates to make sure they're doing their job and representing you rather than sitting back and not getting involved.
So no more excuses for not getting involved in politics! This new site makes it dead easy to keep tabs on what's going on upstairs.
Big thanks to the Australian team Matthew and Kat for their hard work and the UK development team behind the original TheyWorkForYou which OpenAustralia is based on.
