US disappointed Olympics didn't open China more

How weak is this? The US says its disappointed the Olympics had not brought more "openness and tolerance" in China AFTER the Olympics ends.

How typically cavalier of the US to wait till all their political interests are met,  their CEO’s now have better connections, and their dollar has been re-guaranteed by China before saying something.

And how incredibly short sited. The Olympics has caused a dramatic change in China, from openness with respect to commerce, communications, lifestyle, and even politics. I’ve heard dozens of stories, and seen a dramatic change in the country even since first trip to China in 2001. Such changes in only 7 years in amazing for any country, never mind one with 1.3 billion people.

The change in China wont even be fully recognised for years to come, improvements inspired by these past few weeks will stretch well into the future and hopefully create a better work / home environment for a greater portion of the worlds population - they have a 5th of it after all.
